New committee sworn in for 2014 is :-
Late summer diving in Plymouth with Explorer & Maid Maggie hard boats, 21 CSAC divers in all, over 4 days of the best visibility water ever seen!
Scapa Flow June 2013-07-09
I never understood the attraction of Scapa Flow, the old hands reminisced about past trips, the shock and awe of the size of the wrecks, massive guns and deep/dark diving!
The depths and challenging diving conditions portrayed, meant I thought it was a trip I had to train years for…
What a lovely day, shame about the vis!
JohnOH organised another excellent expedition for the early birds, via http://www.diversdownswanage.
West Bay 2013
CSAC goes to West Bay in Dorset for a bank holiday of diving. 13 divers and their families descended on West bay this weekend for 3 days diving off the local boat Huntress 2. An annual pilgrimage to West Bay that did not disappoint !
Eastbourne Dive in April.. Brrrr…
First dive of the 2013 season, only for the brave and with bags of luck, it happened!
David and Chris spent the Easter break at Stoney Cove with Matt Robinson or Midland Rebreather Diving training for their MOD1 Rebreather qualification (45 meters with up to 15 mins decompression) on their new AP Diving “Inspiration” and “Evolution Plus” rebreathers.
Club members turned out in force for the first of the ‘Club Dunk’s’ at the Wraysbury dive centre. Although the day was cold, it was sunny and warmed up progressively during the day. The vis was good and the limpid lagoon was very refreshing at about 5 degrees.
An small group of club divers went to Stoney Cove on Friday 28 December for a Christmas Dive. Stoney was busy as usual. A couple of good dives on the Stanegarth.
